Washoe County General Election 2020 Voting Information
How do I vote using a mail-in ballot?

You may receive your ballot as early as September 24 (even before your Sample Ballot).

You can mail in your ballot any time, as long as it’s postmarked by election day (Nov. 3).

In Nevada, the postage is prepaid, so you don’t have to worry about stamps.

You MUST sign your ballot. The signature must match what’s on file from your registration.

You must use the official return envelope. You can only mail one ballot per envelope, or none of them will be counted.
Where can I drop off a ballot?

At the registrar’s office (1001 E 9th St # A135, Reno, NV 89512).

At an Early Voting site, Oct. 17 - Oct. 30, from 9AM to 7PM. See a list of locations here.

On election day (Nov. 3), to the registrar’s office or a polling place, from 7AM to 7PM. See a list of locations here.

How do I vote in-person?
You can vote early or on election day in-person in Washoe County.

If you have received your mail-in ballot, you should bring it with you to surrender.

There will be social distancing protocols in place. Please make sure you have a face mask.

As long as you are in line by the cutoff time (7PM), you will be allowed to vote. Stay in line!
Early Voting:

Saturday, October 17 to Friday, October 30, 9AM to 7PM.
