Washoe County General Election 2020 Voting Information

How do I vote using a mail-in ballot?

  • You may receive your ballot as early as September 24 (even before your Sample Ballot).

  • You can mail in your ballot any time, as long as it’s postmarked by election day (Nov. 3).

  • In Nevada, the postage is prepaid, so you don’t have to worry about stamps.

  • You MUST sign your ballot. The signature must match what’s on file from your registration.

  • You must use the official return envelope. You can only mail one ballot per envelope, or none of them will be counted.

Where can I drop off a ballot?

  • At the registrar’s office (1001 E 9th St # A135, Reno, NV 89512).

  • At an Early Voting site, Oct. 17 - Oct. 30, from 9AM to 7PM. See a list of locations here.

  • On election day (Nov. 3), to the registrar’s office or a polling place, from 7AM to 7PM. See a list of locations here.

  • After mailing/delivering your ballot, check that your ballot has been received here.
